Blanc de Blancs 2017

For me this is the standout wine of our 2017 harvest, as the Chardonnay really shone. The Pinots did well but the white grapes had something extra and just looked great throughout the season. I find the 2017 more generous and softer than it’s predecessor, which makes me think it’ll open up sooner.

Every vintage this wine is comes from the same chalky plot of our best Chardonnay and has the same treatment as previous vintages with 50% barrel fermentation and 40 months bottle ageing on yeast lees. I find it amazing how no matter what the season, similar characteristics run through every release, a true testament to the quality of this plot of land and the organic farming methods we employ to bring out it’s best.

Residual Sugar: 7 g/l
